Pennsylvannia native Josephine Mayer is a political science major with the goal of working on international/environmental security in DC after graduation. She finds interest in people, patterns, and how things work, but concern for human rights is what originally got her into politics. She also writes for Los Angeles Magazine, but in her free time, she likes to do crafts with friends, ride horses, see live music, and be in nature.
